Delivery Options Post-Recovery

Once your data has been recovered, we offer the following delivery methods:

  • Online Transfer: for smaller amounts of data, we use secure FTP or transfer services like WeTransfer, ensuring a fast and reliable transfer.

  • Physical Transfer: for larger volumes of data, we will return your files using new physical storage media of your choice (e.g. hard drive, SSD, USB) shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery or courier, with full tracking.

We offer multi-tiered support, leveraging the latest recovery tools and access to a secure supply chain of replacement and donor parts which are meticulously tested and prepared as needed. This allows us to tackle even the most complex recoveries. For cases involving severe physical damage, we collaborate with a state-of-the-art UK laboratory, where your storage media will be handled by highly skilled recovery technicians in a certified clean room.

Our Recovery Process

Our recovery process begins with thorough testing and evaluation to maximize the chances of a successful outcome. For off-site or remote recovery, we require a completed Data Handling form to accompany your storage media.

We prioritize the recovery of critical data, especially if disks or drives show signs of wear or imminent failure. Using a private, secure network, we recover your data in priority order, ensuring the most important files are restored first and stored in a secure offline environment.

Stage One: Evaluation

A comprehensive evaluation of your data’s condition helps us determine the appropriate next steps. We may proceed directly to recovery or contact you for further assessment.

Stage Two: Advanced Assessment & Analysis

If additional evaluation is necessary, our Stage Two team conducts a more in-depth analysis using specialized tools and equipment. At this stage, we identify the files that can be recovered and provide you with a recovery quote. You can then approve the recovery or opt to have your media returned (free of charge).

Stage Three: Recovery

Once we receive approval to proceed, your data is recovered and immediately backed up in two locations: temporary cold storage and your preferred delivery method. These backups are compared to ensure integrity before proceeding.

Stage Four: Processing & Return

We return your recovered data along with any original storage media, based on your preferences outlined in the initial evaluation. You’ll receive a full report detailing each stage of the recovery process.
